EPIC Wearable Enclosure

A screw-free wrist-worn enclosure for RISETech’s EPIC wearable, with a snap-lock lid and integrated strap mounts. Our work focused on the housing and assembly.

On the wrist

We designed the wrist-worn housing for RISETech’s EPIC project. The product’s sensing software and clinical performance are outside the enclosure work described here.

Zero-screw assembly

The housing is a stack: a main PCB housing with mounts, the PCB, a snap-lock mechanism, the lid and two strap mounts. The lid snaps shut, so the device assembles without a single screw.

The housing is designed for FDM printing, with RISETech’s logo debossed into the shell. No certified ingress-protection rating is claimed here.
