ESP32-S3 Smartwatch Board

A round, four-layer circuit-board design fitting an ESP32-S3, display, rotary control, haptics and wireless into a wrist-sized smartwatch.

A watch face of electronics

The client needed an ESP32 wearable with a display, an encoder, haptics and wireless, all on a board the size of a watch face.

We laid it out on four layers with tuned RF lines, strict decoupling and a custom haptic driver. Li-ion charging and power management are on board, and the display connects through dedicated FPC routing.

The board layout is prepared for SMT assembly; production validation remains a separate step.
