Heater Fuel-Flow Control

A fuel-flow control system and its control algorithm for an automotive company in Canada, built from off-the-shelf parts and refined with the client’s feedback in under a month.

The system

An Arduino UNO runs the algorithm. It reads a capacitive fuel sensor on the tank and switches the pump and heater through relays. A voltage converter powers the electronics from the 12 V supply.

Refined with the client

We worked through the requirements with the client in meetings, then debugged the circuit and refined the algorithm based on their feedback.
