Payload Beacon

A telemetry enclosure that hangs with a drone’s payload, housing an ESP32-C6, a battery management board and GPS in a stacked design. Made for JapanDrones by Multi Jet Fusion.

Stacked inside

Everything is stacked: an ESP32-C6, a battery management PCB and a GPS module. Each board is mounted and locked in place wherever possible.

The enclosure splits into two parts, so most components are easy to reach.

Made by Multi Jet Fusion

The parts are manufactured by Multi Jet Fusion, a powder-bed 3D printing process that makes strong, consistent parts without moulds.
