An affordable motorised hospital bed, designed around off-the-shelf linear actuators because imported beds are costly in Pakistan. Taken from research to realistic renders.

Affordable by design

Motorised hospital beds are expensive in Pakistan because they’re imported. To design an affordable version, we studied the market-leading companies and their assembly guides to understand the mechanisms and components.

We designed the linkages around off-the-shelf linear actuators and assembled the bed from that research. It’s modelled in SolidWorks and rendered in KeyShot.
